Rite Aid

Different store but same scenario.  As soon as the cashier realized the overage he halted and marked down the coupon value to the actual CG price of the product.  No biggie I put the cereal back but still got 2 OJ.  Paid tax only

RITE AID
Cover Girl make up is on clearance giving HUGE MM
#mcquop in Instagram has her breakdown.  PAID 73 CENTS but did not calculate correctly so Rite Aid gave me a $4 Q back and that was after purchasing 2 dozen eggs, Hostess  cupcake for dinner, throwing on a bag of Skittles at the last second because of my excess overage.

In addition my cashier was "difficult".   She refused to scan any coupons telling me I could not use coupons on discounted items.  I asked for a manager who basically told her scan the coupons if they scanned with no issues great if not call him back over.  My cashier was fuming that I paid 73 cents for 6 mascaras, 2 lip products, 2 dozen eggs, Hostess cupcakes and Skittles.  I cleared the shelf of Cover Girl...which is easy to do with only 8 items on the shelf.

It was too good of deal to pass up so I stopped at 2 other Rite Aids but neither store was marking down Cover Girl so this is a YMMV.

WALGREENS
Double packs (and triple packs too but my store does not carry triple packs) of Reach Toothbrushes for $2.99
Use $2/1 MQ
Use 1000 points
Pay tax only
Get back a $2 RR

3rd Target Tide Oxi deal

Ordering on line for store pick up has worked all week long.  If the store is out of stock for pick up (for reason part of my orders were "misplaced") Target has been great about substituting & still allowing me to use my BOGO Tide Oxi coupons.

I found a stockpile exchange

A group just formed this morning out of Maryland on FB.  Amen!!  My New Year's goal has finally come true :-)

Early Target Morning

I got to Target at 8:05am.  The parking lot was full with people wanting in on the Tide Oxi deal.  I was there for another reason(s).  YMMV on both

1) CLAM posted this Target online deal yesterday:  Free $5 Target GiftCard + Free Shipping when you buy 3 L’Oreal Paris
BUY (3) ONLINE $3.99EA
ENTER PROMO CODE "TARGETTLP"
REMEMBER TO PICK FREE IN STORE PICK UP
OOP= $11.97+TAX
WHEN YOU PICK UP:
SHOW CONFIRMATION EMAIL
REQUEST TO USE YOUR COUPONS (3)$2/1 TARGET Q & (3)  $2/1 MQ (06/15RP)
YOU WILL BE REFUNDED = $12.00 CASH AND YOU KEEP YOUR $5GC  YMMV
- Done
2) Then I showed the customer service my receipt and all the Tide in my cart from last week's purchase.  I purchased (4) Tide Oxi and (4) Tide Pods.  I asked if I could return and repurchase since  now there is a $10 gift card attached to the purchase especially since there was NO Tide on the shelf.  No problems - No issues
- Done
I walked out with $25 in gift cards.
I really do love my local Target store.  I know others have issues but for the most part 98% of the time my local Target is terrific. I write Target often about the good cashiers and their hard work.  People like to be praised for their work so I write Target Corporate with my positive experiences frequently.... you should too.  PS - I do the same thing at Harris Teeters too

$1.45 plus Tax

Remember I front loaded RR so now I am building back up my Wags points aka my bank account.  I PAID $1.45 PLUS TAX and got another 5,000 points in my account for each transaction which included 4 Bounty packs.  I did 2 transactions as I had enough RR.  For these transactions I used RR from last week's Starbucks deal. I found more Starbucks coupons after SD was over.  Remember each single iced coffee cost me 3cents in tax yet yielded a $1RR.  Right now I am Luvin' my Bounty

Wags

Wags.  For the longest time I hated Wags.  Items were out of stock, the whole filler notion, Wags point system, RR...arghhhhh.  But one day I saw a video from Rob at CouponLikeAMan and the Wags lightbulb started going off.  Shortly there after I saw KaSandra72 on YouTube-remember this was before IG became hot - use Dollar General & Walgreen Catalinas during Harris TeetersSD.  Then the light bulb REALLY went off on how to manipulate Wags like a personal bank.  I use Wags as a my bank to roll between RR and Points and vice versa so that I would have cats during SD to use.

Now fast forward to today.  This is NOT a HTSD scenario but it is a perfect scenario to bounce between RR and points to get items at rock bottom prices.  This Wags scenario is all over IG- follow #emily_coupons and for Target & CVS Hauls #Jonesgirl2012 and for all sorts of deals follow #ikill4coupons

I encourage you to seek IG for breakdown and all the various deal scenarios.  It's complicated but ohhhhhhh so worth it :-)

Transactions 1-6: purchase 1 Gold Peak Tea.  Use 1,000 points.  Pay .53 cents and get back $1.50 RR
Transaction 7-12: Purchase Kinesiology Tape $6.99 - Use 5,000 points and (1) $1.50 RR from Gold Peak = Pay 53cents and get back $7RR
Transaction 13 & 14 & 15:
Purchase (4) Bounty - use (4) $2/1 Blinkies
Purchase (1) Dawn - use (1) .20/1 Q from July P&G - need this to get your P&G amount over $20
Purchase (2) Gold Peak Tea - but use (2) $7 RR from Kinesiology Tape Purchase
Pay $1.73 plus tax (which is High in VA $1.26) for $3.06 total and get back 5,000 points plus $1.50RR for Gold Peak Tea

In the End
(12) Bounty
(3) Dawn
(12) Gold Peak Tea
(6) Kinesiology Tape
Paid $14.48- which a majority was tax PLUS I still have $4.50 in RR leftover to use at Harris Teeters on milk and eggs (I have RC for $2.97 milk and 67cents eggs...remember the power of RC :-)

I lied, one last HTSD deal

Nicki posted this on IG and I flew to the store.  I used (2) $1.50/1 IP & (3) $1/1 Blinkies= paid $1+Tax

HTSD Day 7 - Last Day for SD

This was an amazing Super Doubles this time around.  Since it is the last day and 4th of July weekend is coming up, I spent more than I normally would.  The 2 Lumpfin crab cakes in the cart are a $9.98 alone.  But being from Maryland I was really jones-ing for some real honest to goodness crab cakes with not a lot of filler so I decided to splurge.

Paid $9.17 - although as I was leaving I kicked myself for not using the $5/$25 SFW coupon but I guess I will just save it for the next Super Doubles.
Notes:
No coupons for : Hot Dog Buns, Hamburger Bun, 2 crabcakes, 2 Smithfield Pork Tenderloin (I lost my $1/1 Smithfield coupons in the store so hopefully whomever found them was able to use them)

Used my last RC for the Barilla Entrees.  When hubby takes two for lunch they go FAST

Used all my Starbucks $1 catalinas and my one Lunchable Smoothie $2 catalina.  They all double with no issues or problems.

As I checked out I got a catalina for $1/1 any Lunchable so I turned around and purchased one $1.95 Lunchable - paid 6cents after coupon.

In conclusion: Super Doubles is a lot of prep work in organizing my coupons.  This SD had added pressure as Bob is out of town so I was literally shopping for two families.  But isn't that what family is all about...supporting one another.

Final Drum Roll.....
Purchases have totaled $847.19 over 7 days
Total Paid OOP is $28.86
Out of the $28.86, Tax paid is $11.50
$28.86 (OOP) – Tax ($11.50) = which means I paid $17.36 for groceries
Still a 97% savings!!
