I was in Maryland visiting family.  So when in Rome do as the Romans do or in this case when in Maryland go to Shop Rite.  Shop Rite double $1 and less coupons.  (Sorry no picture.  I was with my family and that in itself is a struggle to coupon and shop)

Buy 6 specified milks and get the 7th for FREE.  Not a bad deal if you purchase Half Gallon Silk Milk and use $1/1 - which doubles making Silk Milk 99cents

Yesterday's Shop Rite Shopping trip in Maryland

This is by the best coupon!! My co-worker gave me (5) $1/1 Tyson fresh chicken MQ.  The $1 doubled taking $2 off  fresh chicken making some great chicken deals

Yesterday we had a big family event in Maryland so I decided to take advantage and do a Shop Rite Shopping trip while in Maryland.  Shop Rite doubles $1 coupons and has extended the doubling of $1 coupons until at least July 2014.  We did not get home till after midnight so unfortunately no picture as I put everything away and went directly to bed.

I have not seen Super Doubles in awhile so this is considered a regular shopping trip.  I needed items for the week for lunches, cook outs, replenish produce, fresh meat, milk, etc. so this trip is not about getting only the freebies and an impressive zero dollar amount but an honest reflection of a family shopping trip

Our family had 2 transactions - one using my card and one using my husband's card.
Paid $31.94 + .24cents tax = $32.18 / for 40 items = 80 cents per item
SAVED $73 in coupons / 70.6% overall savings

Shop Rite in Maryland

This Saturday is the last day Shop Rite will be doubling $1 coupons (well supposedly as they keep pushing back the date).  Thankfully I have a family function in Maryland on Saturday so I can take advantage of what I call a mini Super Doubles.  Anyone else plan their schedule around a shopping coupon trip? :-)
