I had to work this weekend but I did manage to fit in some couponing and trading-yeah!
Safeway: I got all excited and posted the current Pop Tart deal. I thought the $1.49 price that was advertised for Pop Tarts would get me overage with the $4 auto deduct WYB 4. However, the price was $2.49 so the autodeduct WYB 4 got the price down to $1.49. No overage but FREE Pop Tarts are good to have around the house. I purchased (4) Pop Tarts. I used (4) .75/1 from KFR = PAID 3 cents which was Tax only
Harris Teeters: I had an eVic special for Eggland Best Eggs for $1.97 a dozen-limit 2. Sale started Friday May 2nd. There was an Eggsland Best Eggs coupon for .55/1 that expired on May 2nd. So after work on Friday May 2nd, I picked up (2) dozen eggs and used (2) .55/1 coupon = 87cents a dozen for eggs!. Thank Heavens because we just used the last of our eggs the day before
JoAnne Fabrics: My 3 year old niece wants a Frozen Cape really really really really badly. Stopped by a JoAnne Fabric Store where everything I purchased was on sale so hopefully I can crank 2 capes today to make her day.
Trading: Found LOTS of supplemental RP coupons thanks to a tip from some co-workers. I was elated that it contained the new $1/1 WetnWild & $1.50/1 Purex coupons & some other great coupons. So I become a very active trader over the weekend on several trading boards. Trading at this volume is not something I want to do all the time as it is extremely time consuming. However, it was fun and something else to check off on my money saving coupon resume. Trades have been finalized and I will be getting $10 Target gift card (everyone knows I trade these up for Disney gift cards); BTFE, stamps, and $25 in ppg. Disclaimer: I do not sell coupons. Coupons are FREE. I trade for my time, gas, energy, blah blah blah.
Wow, all I did this weekend was hold a yard sale that netted me $75.00.
