With only 2 more shopping days left I wanted to take the time to reflect the current HTSD
* Land O' Frost Premium Minis was a sleeper item for my family which turned out to be a home run. I have never purchased this item or brand before. Finally I broke down and purchased three - with coupon doubling making them 50cents. My son literally ate 90% of one container in one day. The small ham pieces were easy for his little fingers to use. It reminded him of Lunchables which thrilled him to no end. This item is flying off the shelf in my house
* Sara Lee Bread. About 5 weeks ago my local Shopper Food Warehouse had peelies on the Sara Lee Bread. My 4 year old, I guess because he is short to the ground, noticed a roll of stickers on the bottom shelf. Those "stickers" were $1/1 MQ peelie. I purchased a sheet of Disney Cars stickers for $1.00 and traded with him ;-) I think it was a win-win for both of us. Thanks to this HTSD my freezer is full of Sara Lee Bread, FREE Sara Lee Bread. An item that one rarely gets for free and now I have several in my stockpile.
* al fresco chicken sausage. We use this or a similar item all the time. We cook it and use the crumbles in pasta sauce, lasagna, omlets, etc. Getting these for FREE was an awesome find
* Pop Secret. You can never have enough popcorn especially when it is FREE..
* Orville Redenbacher's Pop Crunch. Money maker sleeper product turned in to a home run. I got (3) $1/1 MQ peelies in a trade a few weeks ago. I never gave it a second thought till I saw a ZVR for the product. Then to add to the excitement was this ZVR re-populated. This item turned out to be a money maker but it also tastes really really great. I bought 3 bags and all 3 bags are already gone. The product is two thumbs up.
This is one great thing about couponing...trying new items for free :-)
The Land O Frost Premium Minis are a big hit at my house too - they fit perfectly on top of free Ritz crackers from My Coke Rewards!
