My Stockpile Exchange in Maryland tomorrow

I am all set with my trades for the First Maryland Meet N Greet Stockpile Exchange.  I am beyond thrilled as this was always one of my goals.  I was the main mover and shaker to get a large stockpile exchange organized.

I am soooo happy

Harris Teeters Super Doubles - Day 3 - 15cent MM

Bob and I were up at the crack at dawn to get our inserts.  So we decided to head to HT afterwards.  This is out joint haul.  Cliff Notes:  15 cent MM
Bob's So Delicious coupon would not scan so the cashier manually entered the coupons but would not double it since the coupons said DND.  Bummer cause the coupon scans and doubles.  He paid $3.49 OOP.  I was at the register next door and paid $6.62.  Next we went to customer service to get some rain checks.  As we were getting a raincheck for the Jimmy Dean breakfast bowls that was when we noticed one had an expiration date of Jan 2014 and another had an expiration date of Jun 2014.  They could not be exchanged because we purchased all of the sausage bowls so they refunded my money on the two Jimmy Dean Breakfast bowls - see a $4.10 return.  However in the course of events the senior manager picked up Bob's 3 breakfast bowls and placed on the counter and told the girl to refund the money on all 3 in this bag.  The senior manager apologized profusely and was very nice.  So Bob got back $6.15.  He was kind enough to throw $2 my way lol.  It was a 15cent MM on the total haul

Harris Teeters Super Doubles / Day 2

Today is my birthday.  What better way to celebrate than couponing at HTSD :-) I walked over to HT with 3 co-workers.  No one had coupons so they all used Qs from my stash.  It was a lot of fun.  The best part was mixing and matching for everyone's stash afterwards which is why it appears inflated.  This was the only trip I did.  No picture so it was a mix and match stash exchange.

Total would have been $3.85
(2) Progresso Soup Starters
(6) Naked Juice Coconut Water
(6) Go Go Squeeze
(6) Bailey's coffee creamer
(3) General Mills Cereals
(2) Townhouse Pretzel Thins
(2) Swedish Fish
(3) Jimmy Dean Breakfast Bowls
(1) ICBINB Spray

Great first day for Super Doubles

Having a coupon buddy has made the difference in the last 6 months.  My son's godfather is my coupon buddy.  I am the brain and he is the brawn. He has time to scavenge and I have the brain to pay the least OOP.

Between the both of us today, we hit 4 stores and paid 93cents for $197.04 in groceries and items.

In other news thank you Dollar Tree for my free dryer sheets.  Love the smell of Gain

Harris Teeters Day 1 / Round 2 = 89cent MM

Harris Teeters has a Scan Price Guarantee Policy:
Scan Guarantee
  • Our scan guarantee states "If an item scans higher than the shelf tag or sign, you will receive one like item free, excluding alcohol and tobacco."
  • We will honor five "scan guarantees" per customer; all other pricing inadequacies will result in the difference between the shelf tag and the actual price of the item being refunded.
Because of a scan price guarantee my lunchtime trip was a 89cent MM

I have $1/2 Powerade tearpad coupons so I went to purchase Powerade during my lunch break.  I saw two signs in the store - one in the aisle stated Powerade was B2G3free and the very large display in the diary/beer isle said Powerade was 79 cents each.  So at check out the free powerades came off with no problem; however, Powerade was ringing up full price.  I paid for my order and went to customer service to figure out why my bill was so high.  Customer service realized last weeks sign was still up and had not been taken down.  Because of the Scan Price Guarantee this trip was a MM.

Harris Teeters Super Doubles - Day 1 / Round 1 = 91 cents OOP

This Super Doubled must get items
Go Go Squeezables for school lunches and Naked Juice Coconut water.

The $1/1 any Naked Juice blinkie automatically doubles.  Yeah!  Free Coconut H2O this week

Giant FREEBIE

Sorry for not posting lately
YMMV
Step 1: Look in the seasonal clearance section at Giant.
Step 2:  Then pretend you are a little Chihuahua and eye level the bottom shelf.
Step 3: Then use your Jedi Mind trick to know these little crack addicting Girl Scout bars are on sale for 49cents.
Step 4: Then use your coupon goddess powers and locate the .50/2Nestle Crunch Girl Scout Fun Size Bars from the 07-13-14 SS.

Viola' - Free Girl Scout Bars.

* So I was at self check out trying to do multiple transactions with 8 bars at time i.e 4 like coupons per Giant policy for doubling like coupons.  Coupon would not scan at self check out.  After a very long wait I was told to go to customer service and they would just ring everything up there.  Customer Service manager had a big ole Tude as she did not think it too kindly that I was getting these crack addicting Girl Scout bars for free.  She thought of it as ripping off the Girl Scouts.  This is where I bite my tongue, say nothing, and smile.  She glances at the pile of Girl Scout bars in my cart and stack of coupons in my hand and she then tells me 12 like coupons per "DAY" per person at the store.  News to me but fine.  I pull out 12 coupons and 24 bars.  The coupons scans with NO issues at customer service but the customer service manager is furious with the scan and that I will be getting 1 cent overage for every bar.  Therefore she manually deducts the value of every coupon.  When she was finally done, I owe one penny for 24 Girl Scout crack addicting bars.  She was seething mad and insulted with the 1 penny outcome so she voided everything and re-rung everything back up again...once again one penny for 24 GScout bars.  Succumbing to the power of the cash register she allows me the one cent purchase. I paid her a penny and called over my 2 family members to do same thing.  I thought her eyes were going to explode when I called family over to use their 12 coupon maximum per day rule.  We left customer service with our pockets 3 pennies lighter but 72 crack addicting bars richer. A family member called this morning to say the store still had bars so they went to the same customer service lady to purchase another 24 bars this morning. He said the transaction was emotionless lol lol.  I doubt I will find the bars on the shelf after work today LOL LOL* Update:  Sure enough all the single bars are gone lol lol lol*
