Unabridged version: I had 20 coupons at check out but 4 of my IP coupons would not scan so HT would not accept them. No Biggie - I had them take the items off. Because of the back and forth with the coupons I lost track and final tally was $6.03....which was WAY OVER PRICED. I paid it and went over my receipt while still in the store. (3) $1.00 coupons did not scan. Customer service gave me $6 back in cash; therefore, I ended up only paying 3 cents

(6) Barilla Pasta Meals - on sale from a raincheck for $2 - used (6) $1/1 Qs
(3) Pop Secret. I am so digging the new Sweet 'n Crunchy Caramel flavor
(3) Planters Peanuts. I finally found them!!! YIPPIE! :-)

(4) Campbell's Homestyle soup -Had (2) $1/1 and (1) 1/2 tearpad coupons from a trade
Got home very late from work...guess what we had for dinner tonight ;-)
They let you get 6 Barilla pasta meals with the RC even though the limit for coupons is three? Is that a policy or did you just hand them over and the cashier scanned without paying attention? I had RC's for more than 3 items but thought I could only use 3 coupons..... (your son is SOOOOO cute!)

DeleteI asked first. I asked if I could get 6 because my rain check had 6 on them. Of course I asked at a store that has a history of being super duper nice. The store said it was fine to get 6. I thanked them profusely because now I did not have to cook. They laughed and understood as they had kids too and have to juggle work (plus those things are just so darn tasty). If the store had said no, I would not have pushed it but I lucked out. As with anything YMMV (you know you have far better success at your Food Lion than I do at my local Food Lion :-) I just find it never hurts to ask and don't press the issue if the answer is no
Thanks, I will remember that and ask next time! I got flustered at checkout when I suddenly remember that 3 coupon rule and was trying to sort out my rainchecks and coupons.
