I looked for the A1 steak sauce at my store after seeing your posts, but it was on sale for $3.00 at my store, so still $1.00 with the $1.00 insert coupon doubled. Does your store carry a smaller/cheaper size that makes it free?
ReplyDeleteHi Theresa :-) Thanks again for the match ups :-)
DeleteYes, A1 will be $1 after $1/1 insert coupon. First time I purchased the A1 I had $5/25 SFW coupon to absorb costs and the second time I had a BBees ZVR and overage on Truscuit coupons to absorb the costs.
SD is always a roll of the dice and matters of YMMV on what cashiers allow. Like you I am always armed with $5/$25 SFW coupons and Walgreens RR in my toolbox just in case to absorb my costs.
I guess I will look at my store for the A1 but I made out great last night when I went for the first time. I used a rain check for the Old Spice Shampoo to make it $4 per bottle because it was on sale for $4.49 and had to pick up a box of brownies just to cover the overage :) It was a great trip and came home with over $85 worth of groceries with the help of Theresa's lists. I am going to check your list again and see if I need to add anything else to my shopping trip. I got the Tom's of Maine and they were nearly the last on the shelf but I only had two coupons so I don't have any more to spend. Super happy to have some yummy soap to use :)
